28 July Universal Studios Singapore

Talk about punishing ourselves. Up earlish today for the MRT/Monorail trek to Santosa Island once again. Shrek 4D is all Jaxon has been talking about since we mentioned it two months ago

so Universal Studios was a must visit location.
Started the day with the standard tourist photo out the front.

This is what it's all about I guess. Universal Studios is a feast for the eyes as soon as you walk in the front gate.

First off we were off to Madagascar and a some of the theme rides there. Jaxon and Indi were very keen to for the bumping and rolling of the rides.

Madagascar ride number two.

Indi loved all the rides as much as any of us.

After the ride Jaxon had to have a photo on this fella. It too long before the staff were chasing us off.

Next was the 'Waterworld' show. An awesome performance with actors, pyrotechnics, jetskis, boats, stuntmen, etc.

Probably the biggest line of the day and it was only for 20 minutes. A weekday that isn't during the school holidays is definately the go for theme parks. Shrek 4D coming up.

3D glasses on. Come on Dad, we're ready already.

Shrek and the Far Far Away castle.

We all went on this rollercoaster, everyone love it except mummy.

Shrek, Princess Fiona and the tourists. Jaxon was the happiest he has been for a while.

Next door was Jurassic Park. This place was pretty cool.

Definately not one of the rides you would do if you didn't have kids, but they enjoyed it.

When you promise your kids icecream after a ride you have to deliver; even if it costs $5.20 per scoop. I wish I had shares in this joint.

We all went of this ride aswell. A ride that travelled all over Jurassic Park.

Next it was off to do some exploring with the 'Mummy'. Jaxon was allowed to drive the family car for the first time - notice the rail keeping us on track.

Daddy went on this indoor rollercoaster by himself. Straight to the ride and straight on, once again the joys of no school holidays.

How the time change. Street performers keeping us entertained.

As we were walking out we were lucky enought to come across Po from Kung Fu Panda; another of Jaxon's favourites.

Home about 9pm very tired, but well worth the day out and about.
