Another early start saw Todd and I head out in a different direction for some better 'luck'. We only had one marlin strike late in the day and lost it due to a rubberband getting stuck in the runners on the rod. It's a heart breaking story that I can't share another time. Not yet anyway.
The marlin were certainly around and these guys nailed a couple of beauties.
Another great bag of yellowfin for these guys.
Once again the weigh in was very well attended.
Here we are with another wahoo, a solid dogtooth tuna and a nice coral trout.
Sharks were around and this marlin bore the brunt of one of the hungry ones.
My 35lb dogtooth tuna. Third fish of the morning, a great way to start the day.
A very good trout caught trolling. It couldn't put up too much of a fight on the marlin gear but was a welcome sight none the less.
Day Two done and dusted. A relaxing day planned on the beach for the next day and then more fishing and the presentation ceremony the day after. Life is good.
