04 July Majuro Final Day

After a relaxing morning consisting of a 0745 sleep in and then morning spend drinking coffee and reading a book it was time to get the boat ready for one last fish. We decided to chase more dogtooth tuna so I could take a good feed home.

It took a little while to find the fish, at least 45 minutes, but once we found them it was a busy two hour session. This little doggie made it back to Pohnpei in my suitcase.

Even the smaller reef fish were on the chew. We let this fella go.

As luck would have it the last fish of the trip was a stinky barracuda that I de-hooked in the water. Stinky, stinky, stinky fish.

My final evening was at the presentation ceremony for the fishing tournament. Some awesome trophies were up for grabs. They really have there stuff together over there.

The team with our third place trophy and Miss Billfish.

We divided the prizes up amongst us. Todd took the plaque (great bragging rights), I took the massive cooler (which is still in Majuro) and Murray scored an awesome gaff.

It is a pretty cool momento.

So six days in Majuro, countless hours of fishing, now I'm back in the real world. Putting up with a four-year old with a bad attitude and toilet training Indi.........
