27 July Singapore Zoo

We had an 'attractions free' day yesterday and spent the day shopping. As a result I've decided that its probably cheaper visiting various places. Today was the breakfast with the orangutans at the zoo. So after an early rise to make it in time via the public transport system we had breaky with a few monkeys and a snake.

The kids will never remember it, but I'm sure they enjoyed it today.

Nana and Granddad with another 'holiday' pic.

Give me your 'best monkey face' now has a whole new meaning.

This cute little fella was never too far away from Mum.

Happy snap of the day.

The better halves of the family.

Jaxon was picked out of the crowd to be part of the show at the kids animal show. Here he is throwing a frisbee for the dog to catch; lucky the dog was used to random, 'it can go anywhere' throws.

Jaxon, his new buddy and the frisbee the zoo gave him for his efforts.

Next stop was the kids water playground. An awesome set up and a welcome break for parents.

So many ways to drown Dad.

Notice I've got this all worked out.

Jane needed a little help with this one.

Tarzan had it all under control though.

The highlight of the day I think; feeding the dugongs.

Simply awesome, something that I never imagined I would ever do.

In training for the elephant rides in Thailand.

Elephant exercises. Hang the bucket of fruit up in the tree and get the elephants to smash it with their trunks to get the fruit out.

White tigers at feeding time. Awesome to watch such a big cat swim.

Yet another big ticket item completed. Universal Studios tomorrow. More walking but looking forward to it all the same.
