Once we were safely unpacked in our room at 'the Hotel' (part of the Mandalay Bay) we headed out to explore the main strip of Vegas.
The Excalibur Hotel. Most of the hotels on the strip have a theme with piles of money thrown in to make it as interesting to passers by as possible.
We visited 'The House of Blues' for some dinner. The 'children' entertained themselves in the gift shop while we waited to be seated.

This might turn into a Campbell/Quirke family tradition....
Nic wanted to go to New York on this trip. We didn't get there, but it looks like we got pretty close.

Nic and I got a baby sitter for an evening and hit the town. First was drinks in the bar at the top of the Mandalay Bay. Awesome view.
A quality dinner and bottle of wine and then out for a stroll down the strip.
I'm not sure if Nic knew what was behind her in this photo......
New York in the morning, Paris at night. I must be the best husband on earth.
On our last night in Las Vegas we went and saw the 'Tournament of Kings' show at the Excalibur. It was a meal, beer and entertainment package. We weren't allowed to take photos during the show but after some of the characters stayed out in the arena. Indi was more interested in the horses.

For some reason Jaxon wouldn't go and get his photo with the king. Nic was only too happy to help him out.....
