31 Jan - Hong Kong - Kowloon Park

With only seven days in Hong Kong there was no real chance to 'do nothing'. We arrived at the hotel about midnight, slept until eight, had a smorgie breakfast in the hotel and then hit the streets of Hong Kong. We stayed at the 'BP Internation' which is smack bang in the middle of everything. Right next to us was Kowloon Park which had a huge playground, a bird park, a maze, rose garden, aquatic centre, sporting fields; the works. Amazing to see in a city as big as Hong Kong.

Oh Yeah Baby. After being stuck on Pohnpei where the biggest playground is the one on our living compound Jaxon was in heaven. I'm sure he would have stayed here all day.

A three slide slide Daddy. Come and see quick.

The avairy and bird pond was pretty cool as well. Massive enclosures which is always great to see.

Pink flamingos in the middle of the city. Unbelievably cool.

Limited real estate tends to bring out the worst in everyone.

The rose garden was also something to see. Not that I'm a massive flower person but it was impressive. Especially since roses are a dry weather plant so we haven't seen any for over two years.

The first half of day one done. Time for another Starbucks Coffee.
