The time comes for every mother to cut the apron strings. At least over here it is only 0800 to 1200 Mon to Fri. Indi was more than ready to go, bag packed and storming out the door. Nic was a little reluctanct but I think the positives (Nic going kayaking with the girls, drinking coffee with the girls, time to do the food shopping without kids) outway the negatives (can't think of any negatives).

Lucky for us Jaxon has already spent two years at this school and has the routine down pat. Nothing like a big brother to take care of his little sister.
Jaxon's girlfriend Immogen was also on hand to make sure Indi was okay.
Being on Pohnpei has given us many opportunities to do stuff with the kids. Occasions like this many fathers in the Navy miss. Lucky for me I was able to get to Indi's big day.
