Wahoooo

Scott had been stuck in Townville for 10 days and hadn't been fishing for at least 15. It was killing him. So after returning on a Friday and fishing the monthly tournament with Dean on the Saturday he had one more chance to go before we flew out and didn't waste the opportunity. Scott and Waldemar went out for a quick (4 hours) fish on the next Saturday, before we flew out on holidays on the Monday.

The boys were tied up to a float bottom fishing on the reef when a wahoo turned up and started swimming around the bottom. It wasn't too long before they unhitched from the float and started trolling for a wahoo. Three minutes after lures were down a fish was on. Unfortunately it was lost at the boat. They had another two strikes with no hook-ups before both rods had line pouring off of them. Scott's came in at 24lb 08oz and Waldemars at just under 20lbs.

Wire trace is certainly needed on these teethy critters.

Scott still trying to get that 'Front Cover' shot. Five fish strikes in less than hour. If only it was always that good.
