Our hotel in Waikiki was only a stones throw away from the Honolulu Zoo so we got a yearly pass for $14 more than a daily admission and have used it to come and go over the two weeks that we were there and will no doubt visit again on the weekend that we are back.
The kids loved it. It was great to try and explain to a two year old what all the different animals were.
Monkeys on the inside and monkeys on the outside.
Majestic creatures.
So what do you do when hippo kisses the glass?
That's a big kiss right there...
Hopefully it was a girl hippo Jaxon.
Mummy's favourite.
If there is a statue these kids need to climb on it.
The kids petting zoo (kid - get it?).
Just like being back home in Beeliar.
Boombie wasn't so sure.
The fish tank had a tunnel and a little opening in the middle. Pretty cool. Struggled to get Jaxon out of it when it was time to go. The Honolulu Zoo = money well spent.
