Honolulu

Twice a year we get a respite flight off of the island. This time we put the money towards flights to Hawaii. Two weeks in Waikiki, five days on Kauai with three days back in Waikiki before heading back to Pohnpei. Below are some general shots from the first two weeks and I'll put up some specific posts after this one.

They don't call em 'long boards' for nothing.

The Japanese tourists love Jaxon and Indi.

Waikiki Beach has a lot of great things to look at; like statues and other stuff......

Trolleys are the cheapest way to get around. The kids love them more than the destination most of the time.

Yep she has expensive taste. Fanciest bloody kids car I've ever seen.

Air Hockey. Top fun.

Mexican was a hit. More because the place was lit up like a Christmas Tree from the outside so Jaxon insisted that we go there.

Funny face time. He's at that age now......

On the way home one night we came across a hamster named 'Lani'. Hat, grass skirt and surfboard. Only in America.

Plenty of visits to Waikiki Beach for no other reason than we don't have one on Pohnpei.

'Dukes' for sunset cocktails. Life is so much different with kids in tow.

Ah, don't they look sweet

It's never too long before the bundles of joy need to be in the photo as well.

'Daddy: I've been a good girl so I should get icecream.'

More Waikiki Beach

One for the album.

Kids and sandcastles. Daddy builds them and they destroy them. Such is life.
