Dole Pineapple Plantation

The Dole Pineapple Plantation was another stop while we had the car. At one stage in time this place supplied 80% of the worlds pineapples. That's a lot of pineapples.

We decided to take the train tour around the plantation but had to wait about half an hour before the train turned up. Half an hour is a long time for a four and two year old to sit still. So we fed the fish. Thousands of the bloody things.

I'm sure they were just hoping that a pellet would fall in their open gob.

Got to love it.

Here comes the train at last.

Was it worth the wait. Well it filled in 30 minutes of the day.

Daddy this is a pineapple.

And this one has sharp bits Daddy.
