Nicola's Birthday

March 26 every year is Mummy's birthday. We could have bought a cake, but it's always good fun to build your own.

We put in all together and put in the oven. Mummy took it out and iced it - good work team!!!
Nic and I organised a baby sitting for the night and headed up to The Village. After a bottle of champers we headed down for a feed. I had pre-ordered a cake, and the lads even sang a very 'islandy' version of happy birthday.
I'm sure that there was a 'wish' for a me to catch a marlin in there somewhere.
The Village is one of those 'eco-friendly' places. It's a pretty cool place, but as you can see, once the sun comes up, you may as well get up, unless you can sleep through blinding light......
A view over looking the ocean. Not a bad way to wake up; even if it was early.
A very calm day ahead of us.
The rooms are all single cabins so it's very quite apart from the geckos and the parrots.
The restaurant for breakfast and then unfortunately I had to head in to work. Still it was great to have a night alone, I'm not sure we even thought about the kids more than once or twice in the 14 hours we were away, is that bad.......
