With Nic off island for about three weeks it has felt like Father's Day every day. It has been great looking after the little rats by myself, although I wouldn't have got very far without the help of Eleri and Heather. So in between riding bikes, potty training Indi, a dose of food poisoning for Jaxon (we out one night so it wasn't my cooking), swimming in the pool, building a chicken coup, playing at the playground, drawing, a 5km fun run, having friends over, playing lego and of course playing Mariocart on the Wii, we have managed to keep ourselves occupied.
Father's Day started at Church were Jaxon's Sunday School group began proceedings with a message to their Dads and then some songs.
Pretty Cool....
Jaxon loves the singing part, the actions that go with the song - not so much....
After the Sunday Schoolers finished the youth took over the service and provided the 'message' through songs and skits. A bit more like my kind of church.
After afternoon rest time is was clothes off and out on the balcony for 'Spiderman' icecreams. Heather had bought them the previous Thursday but I used them as leverage for good behaviour until Sunday afternoon. Don't tell Heather.....
Peas in a pod. Who says looking after young kids is hard?????????
Finished the day off in the pool.
5 sleeps until Mummy comes home. Hurry up Mummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
