18 Nov Narlap Resort

Scott took a day off of work today and we took Nana and Granddad to Narlap Beach Resort. Not a resort by 1st World standards but to be honest it was a great day. Very relaxing just kicking back on the beach and going for the occasional snorkel to cool off.

Once we arrived by boat we loaded all the stuff onto a trolley for a walk around the lagoon to our favourite little beach. Notice the kids are considered part of the luggage at this stage, otherwise we would still be there.....
See they can be nice to each other......

A quick bite to eat before going for a snorkel with Dad.

Nic made the most of it. It was very enjoyable just relaxing and reading a magazine while the incoming tide lapped at her feet.

Nana and Granddad heading out for a snorkel.

Once Nana and Granddad made sure there were no sharks it was time for Scott and Jaxon to check out the fish and corals.

Indi was a little concerned about the boys heading out into the deep stuff.

It's great having Daddy home every day. A big change from 2008/2009 and the exact reason we came to Pohnpei.

Nana and Granddad with the 'tourist' photo to validate their stories.

Before heading back to the main land we had a crack at the water slide. Jaxon and Scott were first cab off the rank.

A good amount of speed is built up during the short decent.

Indi was next and it she assured Daddy that she was up for it.

Nic had a go as well and enjoyed the final swim to cool off.

Not a bad family photo to finish the day.
