Getting the house ready to rent

So much to do to the house before we leave!!!!! All the little things that we have been happy to just 'put up with' now have to be fixed so we can maximise the rental return on our house while we are away. Of course Jaxon is a great 'help'. "This is fun Daddy, this is fun" he yelled as we swept the floor in the bar. Its a pity he wasn't able to help paint the ceiling or grout the tiles.........

The Beginning

When the opportunity came up to leave the tin can and live life in the Pacific we jumped at the chance. Believe me there is a mountain of paperwork to do just to get selected for a position. After we got over that hurdle the real pain began. The first mountain seems like a molehill right now as we battle through form after form as we prepare for every aspect up uprooting a family for 2-3 years and plonking them in the middle of nowhere. We hope that you will join us occassionally and follow our progress as we move over to Pohnpei and once we are there. We will attempt to keep this blog updated at least weekly to keep you all in the loop.
